Shaker put on another great performance on Thursday, March 30th 2006
at the Fiddler's Green in Cambridge, Ontario.
Thursdays is Indie Music Night at the Fids.
Something different tonight was a Dylan solo (Don't Think Twice, It's Alright") by lead vocalist/guitarist and harmonica player, Dan Brooks.
Also memorable was a version of "The Girl Who", with a bit of rap in it for us.
The Most Memorable thing of the night for me though, was the first song intro - a build up that brings Floyd to mind, "Stuck With Your Bad Luck", which is posted below.
Opening was The Lowdown, a Kitchener rock band, and Shelby rock band from New York City.
Shelby are:
Kenny Cummings: vocals/guitar
Phil Schuster: bass
Paul Moschella: drums
All in all a great show in an intimate venue.
