The Weber Brothers at The Legendary Red Dog Tavern,
Fundraiser for the Peterborough Symphony Orchestra,
Friday, December 30, 2005.
It was the first time in about 6 months since Sam and Ryan rocked the Dog. It was sort of like "home team advantage".
The Dog was filled to capacity with a lineup waiting in the frigid Canadian winter.
We got a mix of rockabilly covers, 'Ronnie Hawkins', 'The Band' and polished originals from their three CDs that blended seamlessly.
The full band was:
Ryan and Sam on guitar and stand-up bass,
Shai Peer on keyboards,
Derek McKendrick on drums,
Jim Usher on saxophone,
Greg Weichel on trumpet and
the PSO's Justin Hiscox on trombone.
What a night, what a show.
Instead of me going on and on about these guys like I usually do, I will just refer you to the video so I don't waste any more of your time because this is really good...
